The Zoo will be closed on the following holidays:

The Zoo may close on days of inclement weather. Check the front page of this web site or call ahead to see if the Zoo is open.

ALMOST ALL of the animals at the Lehigh Valley Zoo are visible in their exhibits all year long. We highly recommend a visit to the Zoo in winter. You will have the opportunity to observe animals that are generally more active, exhibiting behaviors rarely seen in spring and summer. However, there are a few things to bear in mind on a winter excursion to the Zoo:

In our off-season, many amenities (like our cafe and nature store, and some vending machines) may be unavailable, and Zoo hours are reduced. We suggest that you bring food, as only limited snack options may offered for sale.
