General Zoo Donation
When you make a gift to the Lehigh Valley Zoo, you are making a significant contribution to the community. Your tax deductible donation will help us continue to provide outstanding care for our animal collection and bring exceptional conservation education programs to the thousands of families and school children who visit the Zoo each year.
Monthly Giving Program
You can help our animals eat their veggies! Each day, that feast costs the Zoo nearly $150 – that’s approximately $55,000 per year. By joining the Lehigh Valley Zoo's new Monthly Giving Program, you can help us offset these costs by designating a set donation to be deducted from your credit card or bank account. You'd be surprised how a small amount every month can add up in a big way for the Lehigh Valley Zoo! The amount you specify will be charged to your credit card or set up as an electronic debit to your bank account. That makes this program the "greenest" way to donate.
Events and Activities
What is your favorite event at the Lehigh Valley Zoo? Is it Eggstravaganzoo, Party for the Planet, Boo at the Zoo or ZooGala? Your company or organization can play an active role in making one or more of the Zoo's events successful. You can make a monetary donation and receive a variety of benefits or donate a company product, goods or services to help support the event.
Adopt-an-Animal
New! Pick your favorite animal from the list – adopt it yourself, or give a gift of caring to someone special. Once you become a wild parent, a Zoo visit becomes even more fun!
In-Kind Donations
The Zoo accepts in-kind donations of goods or services to help offset our operating budget.
Business Partners
New! Employers are invited to select a month during the Zoo's 2010 Season for their employees and family members to visit the Zoo for FREE. In addition to free admission, employees can become new Zoo members at a 20% discount for the 2010 season for unlimited visits, unlimited fun!
Volunteer
Got time? If you love animals and enjoy working with people, the Zoo is the place for you! We have a wide variety of opportunities available and many different programs to get involved with that cover many different areas of interest.
Corporate Matching Gifts – Double Your Support!
Many companies will match the contributions made by their employees and, in some cases, by retired employees. To find out if your employer will match your contribution, contact your human resources office. It is a simple yet powerful way to increase your support of the Lehigh Valley Zoo.
Memorial & Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts are a thoughtful way to celebrate a birthday, wedding, new baby, graduation or any special occasion. They also serve as a special expression of sympathy by honoring the memory of a friend or relative. Your gift to the Lehigh Valley Zoo will be acknowledged with a letter informing the recipient or their family that a donation has been made in their honor or memory (amount not disclosed).
Zoo License Plate
If you live in Pennsylvania, you, too, can get one of the popular Save Wild Animals license plates and help save endangered wildlife.
