In light of COVID-19, the Lehigh Valley Zoo has implemented guidelines and requirements to provide safe programs for our guests, staff, and animals. Please fill out a program request form to receive these policies via email. Any questions or concerns can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Let the Zoo come to you! The Zoo’s unique animal ambassadors – ranging from an African Penguin to a Two-Toed Sloth – are a great way to introduce conservation topics to your group. These educational programs are great for school assemblies, library events, scout events, and assisted living centers. Our presentations can be adapted for almost all age groups. These engaging programs incorporate Common Core Standards, Pennsylvania Assessment Anchors and Eligible Content, and science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM). These programs are not recommended for children under the age of three.

What animal species are available for a Zoo Reach animal encounter?

Program animals include mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians including but not limited to a Crane, Sloth, African Penguin* and Snake. All animals presented will be appropriate for the program audience but due to the needs of our animals we cannot guarantee a specific animal species. Visit the Zoo’s website at www.lvzoo.org for a complete list of Lehigh Valley Zoo’s Education Program Collection.
