SERVICE ANIMALS
The Lehigh Valley Zoo welcomes zoo guests with service animals under the guidelines set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA). A service animal (usually a dog) is individually trained to perform specific tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability.
Upon arrival, notify the gate staff you are accompanied by a service animal. A manager in charge will be called to clear the service animal to enter the zoo and notify all staff of its presence.
SENSORY INCLUSION
The Lehigh Valley Zoo is Sensory Inclusive Certified through KultureCity. This gives our staff the tools to better assist guests with sensory needs. Through this certification, we provide guests with the availability to sign out and use Sensory Bags.
Upon arrival, visit the main office in the administrative building to sign out your sensory bag.
LVZ4ALL DISCOUNTED ADMISSION
Lehigh Valley Zoo values accessibility for all members of our community. As a way to provide better access we offer discounted admission to those receiving government assistance.
With a state issued EBT card and matching ID, the card bearer along with 3 members of their household can receive access to the zoo for $8 per person.
- LVZ4ALL tickets must be purchased at the gate.
- Any guest above 4 would need to pay full price.
- The discounted rate is for General Day Time admission only.
- The discount cannot be applied to any extra add-ons, after hour events, or special events.
- The LVZ4ALL discounted rate cannot be combined with any other program, such as free Direct Support Professional admission.
- The EBT card cannot be used to pay for admission, instead an alternate form of payment will need to be provided.
