HOPS FOR POPS

Celebrate Fathers’ Day weekend the wild way! Sample a diverse selection of beer around the Zoo from 11-5pm, listen to live music from Brian Hoffner and Frank Porter, and enjoy sweets and treats from local vendors. Valid ID is required for ticket purchase, and General Admission is included in your Hops for Pops event ticket.

 Have a groovy night and celebrate conservation and community at the Zoo with a live performance from The Large Flowerheads, a unique musical experience hosted by Deb’s Drum Circle Experience and
Hearts for Music in PA, and treats and beverages from multiple local vendors. This event is also a great way to see our crepuscular animals when they’re most active!

JUNE 27

5pm-9pm

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Celebrate Independence Day with your favorite heroes at Lehigh Valley Zoo! Join Spiderman, Captain Marvel, Elsa, and Ariel from 10-11am for a meet and greet following a live singing of the National Anthem on our Service Electric Sundeck. Then stick around for more patriotic pride with live music by The Allentown Hobo “Almost” Marching Band from 12-2pm.

FIESTA EN EL ZOO

PRESENTED BY FIRST COMMONWEALTH FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Celebrate Latin culture with authentic food and entertainment during our fifth-annual Fiesta en el Zoo! Meet Miles Morales Spiderman, enjoy Spanish Storytime, see classic Latin dancing and listen to music from a DJ from MEGA 101.7 FM. This event is included in your General Admission ticket or your Membership.

Breakfast with the Beasts

JULY 18-19 / JULY 25-26

Join us before the Zoo opens for a catered breakfast and animal mingles! Led by Educators, get the chance to mingle with some of our animal ambassadors and go on a guided Zoo tour while our animals are most active! Each weekend will have special guests — Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (July 18–19); Elsa and Anna (July 25–26)! General Admission is included in your event ticket.

Christmas in July

Chill out this summer during Christmas in July! Take photos with Summer Santa and meet and greet with Anna and Elsa! Enjoy tasty sweets and treats as you make your way around the Zoo. This event is included in your General Admission ticket and Membership; no additional ticket required.

RunWild 5K/10K

PRESENTED BY United Federal Credit Union

Run wild for animal conservation before the Zoo opens! Choose your track and come out on top after trekking through the Trexler Nature Preserve. At the finish line, enjoy complimentary concessions, our awards ceremony, and an African Penguin animal encounter! General Admission is included in your RunWild 5K/10K event ticket.

Bluey Summer Bubble Bash

Make conservation fun at Bluey Summer Bubble Bash! Swap out balloons for bubbles and meet and greet Bluey, Bingo, Miss Rachel, and Glinda! Stick around for singing and stories with Miss Stacy. This event is included in your General Admission ticket and Membership; no additional ticket required.
