SCOUT PROGRAMS

Include Lehigh Valley Zoo in your next scouting experience! Learn about the Zoo and our unique animal collection in one of our fun-filled scout programs, overnights, or Zoo Reach programs. The Zoo offers scouts a variety of workshops that meet badge requirements. Each workshop promises hands-on fun and learning with interactive activities, animal encounters, and admission to the Zoo.

We hold scouting events that are open to many different groups. The dates and times for those programs are listed below. These programs can fill up fast, so please email or call to register as soon as possible.

Larger groups, groups that cannot attend the scheduled dates, or groups that are interested in other badges can register for a private program. The recommended badges for private programs are listed below. You can email or call to inquire about a badge not listed as well. Private programs require a minimum of 15 participants. Pricing of private programs will vary depending on the badge program requested.

  • Pre-registration is required for all programs at least two weeks in advance, if you contact us within two weeks of the program date we may not be able to accommodate your group
  • One Scout chaperone will be admitted free for the first nine scouts in attendance.  For each ten additional scouts in attendance, one additional chaperone will be admitted free. One adult must attend with each group.
  • Actual badges will not be provided by the Lehigh Valley Zoo
